101-400 Exam - Question 91

Which of the following are filesystems which can be used on Linux root partitions? (Choose two.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: BCE

The suitable filesystems for Linux root partitions include ext3 and XFS. NTFS and VFAT are typically associated with Windows and not commonly used for Linux root filesystems. The swap partition is used as virtual memory, not as a filesystem. Therefore, the correct filesystems for Linux root partitions are ext3 and XFS.

Only B & C are correct ! Swap is no actual file system. It is just a reserved part of the disk that is raw addressable memory with no special structure.
