101-500 Exam - Question 18

Which of the following statements are true about the boot sequence of a PC using a BIOS? (Choose two.)

Show Answer
Correct Answer: AD

Some parts of the boot process can be configured from the BIOS, such as setting the boot order, enabling or disabling hardware components, and setting system time. Additionally, the BIOS initiates the boot process after turning the computer on by performing the Power-On Self-Test (POST), identifying and initializing system devices, and loading the bootloader from the appropriate storage device.

Why would B be incorrect? A UEFI can be used instead, so BIOS is not required.

You're right that UEFI can be used instead, but the question specifically said the PC is using BIOS.

D is incorrect. BIOS doesn't initiate the boot after turning the computer.
