I've done this setup before. the route via multipath learns 2 routes, one is active. WHen there is prefix load balancing is when you don't see the asterisk* prefer route.

one neighbor could be a Route Reflector , so in reality yo have a dual Homed CE connected to two differents PE's, one is reachable with Multipath and the second it's dont... i would say C
