A significant percentage of security vulnerabilities in Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) has emerged from their integration with business and enterprise systems. This integration often exposes IACS to a wider range of attack vectors and threats, which were traditionally limited to corporate IT environments, thus increasing the potential for security vulnerabilities.
