Question 386

A business analyst (BA) is responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of a railway ticket booking system. The BA prepared a report based on observations of the booking clerk over two days (Monday and Wednesday). According to the information gathered, the booking clerk is underutilized and spends a lot of idle time waiting for customers. What should the BA do next?

    Correct Answer: B

Given that the current observation is only based on two days, the data is insufficient to make a conclusive determination about the booking clerk's underutilization. The best course of action is to conduct further analysis to ensure the information is accurate and comprehensive. This may involve observing over a longer period or during different days to capture a more representative sample of the booking clerk's activity.

How are you concluding that " protect against false information based on insufficient data" this is false information or the data is insufficient? BA can propose changes. So based on the elimination I am rounding to Option C

Because he has only two days of observation for his data. My logic is BA needs more days data to come to a conclusion of the under utilization.
