Which of the following physical access controls is most likely to be based on "something you have" concept?
Which of the following physical access controls is most likely to be based on "something you have" concept?
A card-key scanner is based on the concept of 'something you have.' This means that access is granted based on possession of a physical item. In this case, the card-key acts as the physical token that the user must possess to gain access. Other options like a retina characteristics reader or a fingerprint scanner are based on 'something you are,' which are biometric controls, while a PIN code reader is based on 'something you know.'
can someone pls explain why C is not correct. "Something you have" could be access card whereas fingerprint falls in category of "something you are" i.e. biometric.
Must be C
C is correct
It's C!!
definitely C is the correct answer
Should be C, right? A & D - Something you are B - Something you know C - Something you have
Something you are (eg. a fingerprint). Base authentication on something intrinsic to the principal being authenticated. so D is wrong
If D is correct, why not A?
