Question 37

A company wants to refuse receipt on 2 of 7 items from a single PO Line which does not require inspection.

Which procedure will accomplish this and maintain the correct inventory balance?

    Correct Answer: B

To refuse receipt of 2 of the 7 items from a single PO Line while maintaining the correct inventory balance, you should save the receipt, click the 'Select Items for Return' button on the PO Line, and change the quantity to 2, which accurately reflects the items being sent back without altering the remaining balance.

marcoagbOption: B

VOID is to correct wrong receivings.... to reject I would use SELECT ITEMS TO RETURN (option B) 1. Items/Services may be returned back to vendor due to rejection. Receipts transactions that are returned will be considered for invoice. 2. Store Keeper will void the receipt due to incorrect entry. A receipt that is voided is similar to a return, with the exception that a receipt that is voided cannot be considered for use on a credit invoice. Receipt transactions that are voided are not included on invoices. http://surenmaximoworks.blogspot.com/2014/03/select-receipts-to-void-vs-select-items.html

Selecting VOID there is no option to change the quantity. This voids the entire line. You need to select items for Return option to enter a quantity to return. Answer is B

elma93Option: C

I guess the keyword here is "Refuse", this means that the store did not receive these items. So, according to me, the answer is C.

Lavoisier

No, the answer can't be C. First, he want to refuse 2, the quantity to void in answer C is 5. Secondly, it is not possible to change the poline quantity if you use the Void Receipt button. Void Receipt will void the whole poline. For me the answer is B
