Which devices can communicate with each other at Layer 2?
Based on the VLAN configuration shown in the exhibits, Devices 1 and 4 are part of VLAN 2, and VLAN 2 is allowed on the trunk port connecting Switch-1 and Switch-2. Devices in the same VLAN can communicate at Layer 2, provided they are part of the same broadcast domain. In contrast, Devices 2 and 3 are in different VLANs (VLAN 3 on Switch-1 and VLAN 3 on Switch-2), which means they cannot communicate at Layer 2 unless there is a Layer 3 device routing between VLANs. Therefore, Devices 1 and 4 can communicate with each other at Layer 2.
Device 1 & 4 part of vlan 2 . Vlan 2 is allowed on the trunk. So Device 1 & 4 can communicate each other .
