When port security with the send-alarm action is applied, the switch blocks traffic from unauthorized MAC addresses and sends an SNMP trap to notify the network management station. This ensures that unauthorized access attempts are detected and reported.
D. port security automatically blocks traffic and it will send SNMP trap to the management server
D. Upon detection of an unauthorized device on a configured port, an action may be taken to notify administratorsthrough SNMP trap and, optionally, disable the port on which the intrusion occurred (ArubaOS-Switch Hardening Guide for16.06)
D is correct.
send-alarm: Sends an intrusion alarm. Causes the switch to send an SNMP trap to a network management station. From my perspective the port won't be disabled.
Default action of port security is to block unauthorized MAC addresses. In addition to the default action, you can configure how the device notifies you...none is default, send-alarm causes the switch to send and SNMP Trap in addition to the default disable condition. Reference the course material.
