For the switch to accept the message and authorize the client, user role authorization must be enabled globally on the switch. This setting allows the switch to interpret and act on the HPE-User-Role attribute sent by the RADIUS server. If user role authorization is not enabled, the switch cannot apply the user role and consequently rejects the client.
