You have completed a successful VSF stack between two switches.

A.
B.
C.
D.
The expected output when issuing the 'show vsf' command after completing a VSF stack between two switches, without manually assigning a backup switch, is option C. The default behavior is to list the switches as 'Master' and 'Member'. The designation of 'Standby' for the second switch is not automatically assigned; it requires explicit configuration. Therefore, the correct output would be showing one switch as 'Master' and the other as 'Member'.
Correct answer is C. default behaviour is Master and member

Different section of your own link verifies that C is the correct answer. https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/AOS-CX/10.05/HTML/5200-7324/index.html#GUID-6EAE45A1-E8A3-411A-AA51-C66E819530AD.html "The stack does not have a secondary member by default." Default behaviour is Master/Member. Secondary (Standby) must be explicitly configured.
Its D, it will show as Master & Standby
I was wrong, its C.. Without configuring a secondary VRF member it will show the default status as Master & Member. When appointing an secondary VRF member, the status will change to Master & Standby
C is correct. Page 17 of the Aruba VSF guide (https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/AOS-CX/10.07/PDF/5200-7889.pdf) "The stack will not have a standby member by default."
