Professional Google Workspace Administrator Exam - Question 132

An employee at your company does not need access to their Workspace account while they are on leave for a year. When they return, you need to ensure they have access to their account and that all their data and current emails remain intact. Also, their shared documents must be available to other users. You must accomplish this goal in the most cost-effective way. What should you do?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: AB

Assigning an Archive User license is the best option to ensure that the employee's data and emails are preserved while they are on leave, and the shared documents remain accessible to others. This approach is also cost-effective since it avoids incurring charges for a full active user license. Upon the employee’s return, their data and account can be fully restored without loss.

I agree with Chetantest07, this ensures that their emails, documents, and other data remain intact and accessible to other users who need it. When the employee returns, you can reassign a full user license to restore their access to the account.
