Is the Windows agent delivering event logs correctly?
An agent with the status 'Unmanaged' indicates that it has not received a monitoring template. Without the monitoring template, the agent does not know what events to collect and send. Therefore, the agent is not sending logs because it did not receive a monitoring template.
At least at the time of this screenshot, the Agent did not receive a monitoring template. See Study Guide page 140 and 142 (Agent Status "Running Active": At this point the agent is actively collecting logs and sends them to the collector/supervisor; CMDB status may still be pending)
Study Guide p.140 Status: Unmanaged & Agent Status: Registered means that no monitoring template was revieced, as soon as the template arrives, the status will changte to pending
All unmanaged events are droped
All unmanaged events are droped
C is correct Is the Windows agent delivering event logs correctly? A. The logs are buffered by the agent and will be sent once the status changes to managed. B. The agent is registered and it is sending logs correctly. C. The agent is not sending logs because it did not receive a monitoring template. D. Because the agent is unmanaged, the logs are dropped silently by the supervisor.
