Question 58

An LTM device is deployed in a one-armed topology. The virtual server, clients, and web servers are connected on the LTM device internal VLAN. A client tries to connect to the virtual server and is unable to establish a connection. A packet capture from the LTM device internal VLAN shows that the HTTP request is being forwarded to the web server.

From which two additional locations should protocol analyzer data be collected? (Choose two.)

    Correct Answer: A, B

To troubleshoot a connection issue in a one-armed topology where a client is unable to connect to the virtual server, it is essential to collect protocol analyzer data from the network interfaces of both the web server and the client machine. Analyzing data from the web server helps verify if the HTTP request from the client is reaching the web server, and analyzing data from the client machine helps determine if the client is sending the request correctly and if there are any issues on the client side.

WassuOptions: AC

Should be AC , it’s webserver and internal vlan issue since traffic is being forwarded to internal vlan

liaotx

i think not c because “A packet capture from the LTM device internal VLAN shows that the HTTP request is being forwarded to the web server.”

SimonR2

Agreed, I think it should maybe be AC as we don’t know if the web server responds or not.

GVKD

A capture on the Internal Interface has already been done. We need to select 2x additional locations for captures.

AB - Correct.
