If your customer has a policy requirement that cannot be handled in the Visual Policy Editor, what would you use to supplement the Visual Policy Editor?
If a policy requirement cannot be handled in the Visual Policy Editor, the appropriate tool to use would be iRules. iRules is a powerful scripting language that allows for detailed and specific traffic management and policy implementation that goes beyond the capabilities of the Visual Policy Editor. iApps, TMOS, and iControl serve different functions and are not suited for directly supplementing policy requirements in the same way iRules can.
Because I only use irules, but I know you can use policies for replacing irules.
