Show Answer
Correct Answer: A

When approached by a reporter about a case you are working on or have worked on, it is best to refer the reporter to the attorney that retained you. This ensures that any communication about the case remains within the legal and ethical boundaries set by the attorney-client relationship. Attorneys are best equipped to handle media inquiries in a way that protects the interests of the case and complies with legal obligations.

"No Comment" could attract more attention. You should refer them to the attorney.

'A' is correct, but this would also raise some flags, if you have nothing to hide, why would you refer to your attorney. This is a typical Ec-Counsil question and up to their discretion to choose what is right and wrong.

You must respect maximun reserve about cases you are working/ worked on. Thats the why you cannot say anything about, even if you have nothing to hide: Its not you, friend... Its your customer. And your customer is the attorney who hired you.
