Show Answer
Correct Answer: B

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a tool that allows a user to remotely access and control a Windows PC with the same level of control as the local user. This protocol provides a secure session, enabling the technician to interact with the customer's computer as if they were directly in front of it. It supports full control over the remote system, which is essential for troubleshooting and technical support tasks.

VNC only allows the technician to view the issue along with the user, but RDP allows the technician to actually interact with the users computer.

What does 'remote desktop' mean? Remote desktop is the ability to connect with and use a faraway desktop computer from a separate computer. Remote desktop users can access their desktop, open and edit files, and use applications as if they were actually sitting at their desktop computer.

the answer is D VNC (Virtual Network Computing) is a graphical desktop-sharing system that uses the Remote Frame Buffer (RFB) protocol to remotely control another computer. It provides a secure session that allows the technician the same control as the customer, making it ideal for help desk scenarios where visual guidance and interaction are required. VNC allows the technician to see the customer's desktop and take actions as if they were physically present at the machine.

"with the same control as the customer." RDP would authenticate the technician with their rights, not the customer's.
