Which of the following BEST prevents unauthorized access to spare workstation inventory?
Smart lockers are specifically designed to securely store and dispense equipment through controlled access methods, such as scanning an employee badge. They provide a higher level of security by ensuring that only authorized personnel can access the items stored within. Traditional locking cabinets, while effective, do not offer the same level of controlled access and tracking features as smart lockers, making smart lockers the best option for preventing unauthorized access to spare workstation inventory.
Its without a doubt D. Locking Cabinets. Think of Amazon Smart Lockers, those are used for contactless package pickup.
I'm inclined to say D (Locking Cabinet), but after reading CompTIA's N+ Review Guide, I'm leaning towards E (Smart Lockers). Read below and tell me what you think. Page 412 and 413 N+ Review Guide 5th edition. - Locking Cabinets (Can even thwart an attacker from gaining unauthorized access to information or materials. Cabinets are not just used for files; other media and valuables can be on hand, and they should be locked up in cabinets as well. - Smart Lockers (In many large tech-driven organizations, these smart lockers can dispense and track electronics for their employees. While the other options can contribute to security measures, they might not provide the same level of physical protection against unauthorized access:
its D. j904 comment nailed it.
Pretty sure it would be "D", locking cabinet. In my experience, smart lockers are often used by people visiting data centers to store their phone or keys, and not something you'd store equipment in long term.
locking Cabinet
smart locker would for equipment in use by employees, locked cabinet makes more sense where it's spare hardware
first 3 are mostly good for detecting and the last answer is could work but putting it in some form of locked storaged area is the best between the 2
Smart lockers usually have features that make them more secure than traditional storage options, like locking mechanisms that prevent anyone but you (with a valid key card or access fob) from entering.
Hmmmm. rethinking. D is probably more common. But is "more common" "BEST"??? Geez I don't know what to choose. I test on Monday. We'll see how it goes.
Did you pass ?
