220-1101 Exam - Question 216

A technician needs to recommend an internet connection for a customer who travels around the world and wants to have connectivity while visiting remote camping locations. Some of the locations the customer visits have limited or unreliable cellular service. Which of the following connection types should the technician recommend?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: A

For a customer traveling to remote camping locations where cellular service is limited or unreliable, satellite internet would be the most reliable choice. Satellite connections do not depend on proximity to cell towers or terrestrial infrastructure, making them ideal for remote and hard-to-reach areas worldwide. DSL and Fiber require fixed connections to buildings, and a hotspot relies on cellular service, which is mentioned to be unreliable in this context.

dont you need cellular service in order to turn your phone into a wifi hotspot? satellite would probably be the only thing able to reach you while you're camping far from cell towers.
