Scenario: While using Citrix Studio to create a new Delivery Group, a Citrix Administrator does NOT see any machine catalogs listed, but does see an error message. The administrator successfully verified the presence of machine catalogs in the Machine Catalogs node of Citrix Studio.

If the Citrix Administrator does not see any machine catalogs listed when creating a new Delivery Group and verified the presence of machine catalogs, it is likely because there are no unassigned machine catalog machines available. Delivery Groups require unassigned machines to be created successfully. Therefore, if all machines in the machine catalogs are already assigned or otherwise unavailable, this issue will occur.
B is correct, just tested this. With no unassigned machines in the catalog, the machine catalog does not show up as an option when creating the new DG.
