Question 39

Scenario: A Citrix Administrator wants to add machines to a delivery group. The administrator has two Machine Catalogs containing unallocated machines. At the screen to choose machines from Machine Catalogs, the administrator can see that only one Machine Catalog is available.

A possible cause of this issue is that the machines in the unavailable Machine Catalog are ________. (Choose the correct option to complete the sentence.)

    Correct Answer: B

A possible cause of this issue is that the machines in the unavailable Machine Catalog are of different OS types. This would prevent them from appearing as selectable when adding machines to a delivery group, as Citrix requires consistent OS types between Machine Catalogs and Delivery Groups.

It could be B and D.

majkelOption: B

Answer "B" is correct. Desktop/VDI and Server OS VMs from 2 different MCs cannot be combined within 1 DG. Also Desktops assigned randomly from MC 1 cannot be combined in 1 DG with Desktops assigned statically from MC 2. VMs can be unregistered - they can not even exist - only AD computer object has to exist in order to add it to MC -> DG
