Question 69

Scenario: A Citrix Engineer is working on ICA policies to restrict sharing of client clipboard data to user sessions. However, the engineer wants to allow some specific formats to be shared.

Which two policies should the engineer configure to allow this? (Choose two.)

    Correct Answer: B, D

To achieve the goal of restricting sharing of client clipboard data to user sessions while allowing specific formats, the engineer needs to configure two policies. The 'Restrict session clipboard write' policy should be enabled to prevent client clipboard data from being shared within the user session. To allow specific formats to be shared, the 'Session clipboard write allowed formats' policy should be configured. These policies together fulfill the requirement of restricting the clipboard data while permitting certain formats to pass through.

Ignore my above comment. I have re-read the article in the link. It talks about "Session Clipboard" further down. Restrict session clipboard write - When this setting is Enabled, client clipboard data cannot be shared within the user session. You can allow specific formats by enabling the Session clipboard write allowed formats setting. Client clipboard redirection - This setting allows or prevents the clipboard on the user device being mapped to the clipboard on the server. The question is asking about preventing client data from being written to the user session. Therefore B & D are correct.
