Question 9

Scenario:

A Citrix Architect is implementing a new Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment. The IT team has purchased 1,000 Citrix Virtual Apps and

Desktops Advanced licenses.

Moving forward, the company requires the IT team to produce a report of all unsuccessful connections of Citrix Virtual Apps during the previous 12 months.

Which two actions does the architect need to take to support these requirements? (Choose two.)

    Correct Answer: B, C

To produce a report of all unsuccessful connections for Citrix Virtual Apps, the architect needs to configure the 'GroomFailuresRetentionDays' to 365 days to store failure logs for the desired period. Additionally, upgrading to Citrix Virtual Desktops Premium licenses is necessary as Advanced licenses limit the data retention to 31 days, whereas the Premium licenses allow longer retention periods required for the 12-month report.

I think should be B and C, because it ask for a report of all unsuccessful connections, it will be reported on the GroomFailuresRetentionDays.

B&C for sure

B: You need Premium licenses for 365day C: GroomFailuresRetentionDay is the correct setting

Azure_Az_U_Can_BOptions: BC

B and C. GroomFailuresRetentionDays is "MachineFailureLog and ConnectionFailureLog records". It is the latter that we are asked for, so C is correct. B is correct because unless you're on Platinum (I think question calls it premium) you won't be allowed over 90 days. Default on Platinum is 90 days.

kirshad

Yes it should be B and C. Customers on Platinum licensed Sites can change the grooming retention to their desired number of retention days, otherwise the default is used.

B C for sure

https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/1912-ltsr/director/data-retention.html Advanced licensed Sites - the grooming retention for all settings is limited to 31 days NOT A since we don't use 'groomsessions for disconnected settings Must be B since Premium licenses are needed. Must be C because the default needs to be changed. Wouldn't be D since the question doesn't really cover ADM. This is a licensing and Director question.
