Which Layer contains the hypervisor infrastructure in a XenApp and XenDesktop Architecture model?
In a XenApp and XenDesktop Architecture model, the hypervisor infrastructure is contained within the Compute layer. This layer encompasses the hardware and the hypervisors that run the virtual machines, providing the necessary computational power for the virtual desktops and applications. The other layers serve different purposes: the Control layer manages and controls resources, the Resource layer includes the servers and desktops, and the Access layer handles user access points.
B(Compute Layer) or Hardware Layer
Compute layer
The answer is B. See: https://www.citrix.com/content/dam/citrix/en_us/documents/products-solutions/xendesktop- deployment-blueprint.pdf
the answer should be A
(B) is the answer. Control layer: has Delivery ctrl, sql, licsense and Domain ctrl. Resource layer: Sever OS vda, assigned Desktop os, Random Desktop, remote PC's. Access layer: StoreFront, firewall and citrix gateway. (Got the info from CItrix Training guide pg 40)
CWS-215 prep guide says hypervisor is part of "hardware layer". Recource layer is Desktop/Server VDA + Remote PC - so the question is odd
compute layer = hardware layer. B is the answer
