Question 81

A Citrix Administrator needs to block access to multiple URLs for security reasons.

Which configuration should the administrator use to accomplish this requirement?

A.

B.

C.

D.

    Correct Answer:

The goal for the Citrix Administrator is to block access to multiple URLs for security reasons. To accomplish this task, using the DROP action within the responder policy is more suitable. The DROP action ensures that the request is silently dropped without any response being sent back to the client, which is ideal for dealing with potentially harmful or malicious requests. RESET might prompt the client to retry the request, which is not desirable in a security context as it could be part of an attack pattern. Therefore, the correct configuration should use DROP, which matches option B.

There is the typo, but it's across all 4. I believe that B is the correct answer based on the question stating that this is for security purposes. The Reset is for telling a client to re-establish, but a drop is security/attack related. https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/netscaler/12/appexpert/responder/setting-responder-default-action.html "If the undefined action is set to DROP, the appliance silently drops the request without responding to the client in any way. This action is appropriate for requests that appear to be part of a DDoS attack or other sustained attack on your servers."

I agree, if the real question says CONTAINS_ANY and not just CONTAINS.

Is this really a 1Y0-204 question? Seems like a question from 1Y0-240, Citrix NetScaler 12 Essentials

Maxime666

Yes it's really a 204 question. I pass this exam beggining of the year (in place of 203) and failed because I was absolutely not aware/prepared for this kind of questions. Seams to bo a lot of differences between 203 and 204. For those like me that followed the 203 training, you will need to make an upgrade with netscaler & Cloud skills

No Correct answer possible, as all Examples have a typing Error in the last line, "responser, instead of responder"
