A Citrix Architect is designing the Access Layer for a company that supports active-active mode for Citrix Gateway, as well as an on-premises, two-factor authentication solution.
Which feature supports this requirement?
To support an active-active mode for Citrix Gateway and an on-premises, two-factor authentication solution, the Citrix ADC Cluster is the appropriate feature. A high-availability pair is typically active-passive, not active-active, and the Citrix Gateway Service is a cloud-based solution, which does not fit the on-premises requirement. Additionally, the Citrix ADC standard edition does not support clustering, which is necessary for active-active configurations. Therefore, the Citrix ADC Cluster option is the correct answer.
HA pair is not GLSB, Gateway service is Cloud and in Citrix ADC Standard edition clustering is not available. Active-active is needed so the answer is B
HA is acitve-passive. Standard License won't work. Gateway service is Citrix Cloud.
This question is confusing due to the two factor (nfactor) feature required. Correct answer is B (Active-active Citrix ADC cluster) with the silent assumption that Citrix ADC is licensed in either advanced or premium edition.
B is the answer. Not C, it doesn't report any single url or gslb configuration. On premise ADC active-active is only supported by ADC Cluster configiruration. (HA is active-passive)
I think should be B, it requieres an active-active config.
Active-Passive = HA Pair, Active-Active = Cluster
I think answer is A. For the gslb feature you need an advance and premium edition licence, but the citrix ADC option licence is also supported with the standard edition
I think answer A is correct..., because if you need to work active-active..., you can have 2 CPDs and deploy GSLB, for GSLB not is necesary a cluster..., you can have only 1 node per CPD, but.., you need a Standar or higher to have GSLB, GSLB not support for express license...
An HA pair is not active-active. B is correct. 2-factor would assume that you have an advanced or premium license for your ADCs.
I hate the way this question is posed. Could you not say the answer is D because it is the "Feature" that supports Active/Active and nFactor authentication.
Having said that would answer B.
Multi-Factor (nFactor) authentication - nFactor authentication Update from https://docs.citirx.com; Starting from release 13.0 build 67.x, nFactor authentication is supported with Standard license only for Gateway/VPN virtual server. For more information about nFactor authentication with Citrix Gateway, Reference: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-adc/current-release/aaa-tm/authentication-methods/multi-factor-nfactor-authentication.html
The question asks for a Two-factor authentication solution. nFactor authentication (multifactor authentication) only comes with advanced edion or premium edition. Not standard edition. So A is wrong. https://www.citrix.com/content/dam/citrix/en_us/documents/data-sheet/citrix-adc-data-sheet.pdf I think C is the right answer. HA needs GLSB and GLSB is active-active.
I think answer C is correct. You need HA pair for GSLB.
