Question 31

Scenario: A Citrix Administrator received reports from users regarding published applications freezing and crashing randomly within their Virtual Delivery Agent

(VDA) machine sessions. The administrator would like to review the history of applications that have crashed recently.

Which step can the administrator take to gather the necessary information from within Citrix Director?

    Correct Answer: B

The appropriate step for a Citrix Administrator to review the history of applications that have crashed recently within Citrix Director is to configure Application Faults under Trends. This feature allows administrators to monitor and analyze application faults, which are indicative of unexpected shutdowns and lost functionality, thus providing the necessary details about the application crashes.

majkelOption: B

"B" is correct By default application faults are enabled. Application errors are not. Those can be enabled through policy. By default, failures from applications hosted only on the Server OS VDAs are monitored. To monitor Desktop OS VDAs, set the 'Enable monitoring of application failures on Desktop OS VDAs' setting. I do not understand why the answer is "Configure" it under Director - isn't it just to use?

MelkboertjeOption: B

B is correct https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/director/troubleshoot-deployments/applications.html The failures are displayed as Application Faults or Application Errors based on their severity. The Application Faults tab displays failures associated with loss of functionality or data. Application Errors indicate problems that are not immediately relevant; they signify conditions that might cause future problems.
