Question 43

Scenario: A Citrix Administrator previously configured a XenDesktop Site to use evaluation licenses. The administrator has recently installed valid Enterprise licenses on the Citrix License Server and confirmed that licenses show correctly in the licensing console. However, a user reported an issue about logging on to the published desktop. The user received an error message stating that the evaluation license is about to expire.

What should the administrator do to fix this issue?

    Correct Answer: B

Given that the XenDesktop Site was previously configured to use evaluation licenses and the administrator has now installed valid Enterprise licenses, the issue likely lies in the product edition configuration within Citrix Studio. The error message about the evaluation license nearing expiration suggests the system is still configured to recognize the old evaluation licenses. Therefore, the administrator should change the product Edition in Citrix Studio to point to the new Enterprise licenses. This will ensure the system uses the correct licenses and resolve the user's login issue.

to my understanding as licenses show correctly in licensing console no any service restart is needed. Admin should change licensing model in Studio if evaluation licenses were different model than the ones he purchased

Answer should be B, in order to have installed the license you would have had to already stopped then started the license service. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX132453
