Question 22

Scenario: A Citrix Architect is creating a conceptual architecture for a Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment. Based on some initial the company's business goals and objectives, the architect has collected the information shown in the exhibit.

Which delivery model should the architect recommend?

    Correct Answer: A

Given the provided requirements, it is essential to find a solution that balances hardware limitations, availability, and budget constraints. The company has an on-premises data center with hardware nearly at full capacity, so solutions heavily relying on additional on-premises resources may not be ideal. The administrative team is also not looking for a complex solution given its current workload, meaning simplicity is valuable. The need for high availability and budget-friendly options supports the use of cloud resources. Therefore, a Single-Site in Citrix Cloud, with use of both public cloud and on-premises resources, strikes a balance by leveraging available on-premises hardware while offloading additional requirements to a public cloud, ensuring both high availability and cost efficiency.

Discussion
buster1294Option: A

A is correct. There is no need for multiple sites in this scenario, and a Cloud solution provides them a way to deploy without a large hardware expenditure to expand their on-prem resources.

Justin_beswickOption: C

the question says there is no local capacity, therefore it must be C

ctxvad

The question doesn't say "there is no local capacity", it says it si nearly full, so there is still space but not much.

certhunterfembotOption: A

A - Marketing question. Obviously selling single site architecture in Citrix Cloud.

d0bermannn

there is no resources available on-prem, so C, as there is no option for single site\single cloud resources

jdstroyOption: C

d0bermannn is right! C is correct! Didn't read exactly but additional requirement is HA. So multiple sites and cloud resources...

d0bermannn

if ever be the option of single public site & resources, that would be enough, but we had not it here

jdstroyOption: A

No multiple sites are needed and it's the only answer making sense!

cloudaccountOption: A

B and D are incorrect because they rely only on on-premise data center which has no available hardware for the new solution. C could be correct but it violates the financial factor which must be minimized. Therefore A seems to be the most correct answer.

OllyThompson

I was also thinking this, until the answer mentioned an on-prem resource location. This would not be available because of the lack of available resource in the on-prem DC. The ideal answer is single Citrix cloud site connecting to a single public cloud location

d0bermannn

there is no resources available on-prem, so C

RafatekaOption: A

No need for Multiple Sites, so Single-Site is the one that makes sense (A or D). Answer D cannot be because of the limited HW in on-premises. Best solution is a Single-Site in Citrix Cloud, with some resources in on-premises resource location (limited HW resources), and the rest in Public Cloud to meet the responsible financial budget. A. Single-Site in Citrix Cloud, public cloud, and on-premises resource location

d0bermannnOption: C

there is no resources available on-prem, so C

psg1211Option: A

I think A is correct.

alexandercamachopOption: A

A is the answer. Citrix Cloud provides High Availability. Use some of the on premises as is near full capacity but not FULL. So some in on prem and rest in a public cloud.

ctxvadOption: A

I believe the answer is A. The new solution should be highly available, where possible and responsible financial budget, so this can also means a single-site in Citrix Cloud but with two DLC's, two Storefronts etc. instead of two sites, this will be more expensive. A Citrix site in the cloud is also more highly available then on premise. Next, the available hardware on premise is nearly full but not completely full so it is still possible to hosts so VDA's on premise to cut down the costs and have VDA's in to places, on premise and in the cloud, this also helps for high availability. So in mine opinion answer A is more logical.
