Question 698

How do cloud deployments compare to on-premises deployments?

    Correct Answer: A

Cloud deployments are known for their ability to provide better user experiences across different world regions because they can leverage the global infrastructure of cloud service providers. This allows for lower latency and consistent performance regardless of the user's location. In contrast, on-premises deployments can often be limited by the geographic location of the physical infrastructure, making it more challenging to ensure a similar user experience in diverse regions.

D: "Cloud deployments are inherently unsecure, whereas a secure architecture is mandatory for on-premises deployments." - what is so inherently unsecure about cloud, compared to on-prem? - why do you think a secure architecture is mandatory for on-prem? On-prem means you're basically owning the infrastructure. Nobody forces you to do anything. You can configure a server with no protection whatsoever and make it public to the internet if you really want it.
