Network standards require a bundle interface to be taken out of service if one of its member links goes down, and the new link must be added with minimal impact to the production network. On second thoughts, after the 10Gb link is in the bundle how can you validate just layer 3 specifically of the specific 10Gb link? Maybe the suggested answer is correct? Validate the physical layer, the network layer (outside of bundle) and afterwards configure the channel-group to add it into the bundle and finally set the lacp min-bundle 3 command? I was thinking, you must check the layer 3 of the bundle but there is no such option provided.
