Question 95

DRAG DROP -

A network engineer is adding an additional 10Gbps link to an existing 2x10Gbps LACP-based LAG to augment its capacity. Network standards require a bundle interface to be taken out of service if one of its member links goes down, and the new link must be added with minimal impact to the production network. Drag and drop the tasks that the engineer must perform from the left into the sequence on the right. Not all options are used.

1 - Validate the physical and data link layers of the 10gbps link 2 - Execute the channel-group number mode active command 3 - Execute the lacp min-bundle 3 command 4 - Validate the network layer of the 10Gbps link

1 - Validate the physical and data link layers of the 10gbps link - before anything we want to be sure that link is up and running at L1/L2 2 - Execute the channel-group number mode auto command - this is needed for LACP, only other option is ON so we need AUTO here for the LACP 3 - Validate the network layer of the 10Gbps link - to check the network is still working at L3 over the LAG 4 - Execute the lacp min-bundle 3 command - they want the bundle out of service if one link is down

On second thoughts, after the 10Gb link is in the bundle how can you validate just layer 3 specifically of the specific 10Gb link? Maybe the suggested answer is correct? Validate the physical layer, the network layer (outside of bundle) and afterwards configure the channel-group to add it into the bundle and finally set the lacp min-bundle 3 command? I was thinking, you must check the layer 3 of the bundle but there is no such option provided.
