DMVPN (Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network) can be used over the public Internet, providing flexibility and scalability for establishments that do not have access to a private infrastructure. On the other hand, GETVPN (Group Encrypted Transport VPN) requires a private network as it is designed for environments where the underlying network is already secured, such as private MPLS or leased line networks. Therefore, DMVPN has the advantage of being deployable over less secure public networks, unlike GETVPN.
