300-415 Exam - Question 28

What is a requirement for a WAN Edge to reach vManage, vBond, and vSmart controllers in a data center?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: AD

A requirement for a WAN Edge to reach vManage, vBond, and vSmart controllers in a data center is the establishment of secure communication channels. Transport Layer Security (TLS) is essential in this context as it provides the necessary encryption and security for data transfer between these entities, ensuring a secure communication environment.

OMP is between vSmart to vEdge , and vSmart to vSmart only. I think tha answes is D: TLS. any comment?

vEdge and vBond only use DTLS

vbond is never establish tls connection or OMP connection .

at the time of bring up, there is a DTLS/TLS connection between vEdge and vBond, once the vEdge establishes connection to the vSart, the connection to the vBon is teared down.

WAN Edge to vBond should be DTLS, so TLS wrong.

B is the correct answer. Because its absoulte relevant to reach the IPs from the Controllers. - vManage + vBond did not speak OMP - vBond did only speak DTLS and no TLS - QoS is used in Traffic Congestion and paket forwarding.

TLS is the only thing that makes sense. Controllers in DC.. IGP is invalid

What is a requirement for a WAN Edge to reach vManage, vBond, and vSmart controllers in a data center? The question states the WAN Edge is in a data center, which mean's it is a bricks and mortar (Physical device) not a VM, so SD-WAN TLS, IGP and BGP is not valid here. OMP is required to connect to the overlay to the SD-WAN main controllers from a physical WAN Edge Device. Therefore the answer is A

It can not be OMP. connecting with IGP is the most relevant answer to this question!

correta B

I think is IGP because Vbond doesn't use TLS? only DTLS on it. omp is only with vsmart and once the overlay is up.

inside DC, all devices (vmanage, vsmat, vbond, and Edges) need IGP to communicate with each other.

A requirement for a WAN Edge to reach vManage, vBond, and vSmart controllers in a data center is: D. TLS Transport Layer Security (TLS) is essential for establishing secure communication channels between the WAN Edge routers and the controllers (vManage, vBond, and vSmart) in the Cisco SD-WAN architecture.
