DCACI Exam - Question 198

Refer to the exhibit. All nodes in the Cisco ACI fabric have been statically assigned out-of-band management IP addresses in the 10.100.180.0/24 range. An engineer is attempting to SSH into Leaf101 using a laptop with an IP address of 10.101.180.100/24. Which configuration change must be performed to allow the engineer to SSH using the laptop?

Show Answer
Correct Answer: C

The laptop has an IP address of 10.101.180.100/24, which is outside the current allowed subnet range of 10.100.180.0/24. To enable SSH access from the laptop, the allowed subnets need to be modified to include the laptop's subnet (10.101.180.0/24).

sorry, saw the IP wrong, its 10.101 not 10.100, so C is correct :)

In this scenario, the engineer is attempting to SSH into Leaf101 using a laptop with an IP address of 10.101.180.100/24, but the out-of-band (OOB) management IPs of all ACI nodes are in the 10.100.180.0/24 subnet. The issue arises because the ACI fabric's OOB configuration restricts access to specific subnets, and the laptop's subnet (10.101.180.0/24) is not included in the list of allowed subnets. To resolve this issue, you must update the allowed subnets in the OOB EPG configuration to include the laptop's subnet (10.101.180.0/24). This allows SSH traffic from the laptop to reach Leaf101.
