Question 88

Refer to the exhibit. Based on the show command output, which result is true after BGP session is established?

    Correct Answer: C

Based on the output of the 'show bgp neighbors' command, the BGP state is 'Idle,' which indicates that the BGP session is not yet established. Because the session is not established, the router neither advertises nor accepts any routes to and from the neighbor 192.168.2.2. Additionally, the default eBGP policy in IOS XR blocks all incoming and outgoing prefixes unless explicitly configured otherwise.

Discussion
tinteOption: C

C is correct but the reason why the router will not advertise nor receive the prefix is because of the default EBGP policy in iOS XR which will block all incoming and outgoing prefixes.

nerdymarwa

highly agree. An RPL is needed here

kolinsteroyOption: C

C is correct: BGP state is idle. Lol

FoggiestIE

I agree that it should be “c”, but not for the same reason. Also noticed peer was not up Doesn’t look like an rpl is applied to peer

nolbiOption: C

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/crs/software/crs_r4-0/routing/command/reference/rr40crs1book_chapter1.html#wp697687592 C is Correct

rasty196Option: A

i think the correct answer should be A, the question says after "established" so in IOS XR there must be RP applied to the neighbor inbound and outbound, initially there is not RP applied.
