Question 138

You have two rules, ten users, and two user groups in a Security Policy. You create database version 1 for this configuration. You then delete two existing users and add a new user group. You modify one rule and add two new rules to the Rule Base. You save the Security Policy and create database version 2. After a while, you decide to roll back to version 1 to use the Rule Base, but you want to keep your user database. How can you do this?

    Correct Answer: D

To achieve the goal of rolling back only the Rule Base and not affecting the user database, you need to restore the entire database except for the user database. This allows you to retain the user database while rolling back to the previous Rule Base configuration. Restoring the entire database except the user database ensures that the changes in the user database (such as deletions or additions of users and user groups) are preserved, while the Rule Base configuration is reverted to version 1.

Discussion
wakoproOption: D

fwm dbexport command is not supported on R80. So the answer is D

Anni_CCSA

I think you are correct : https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Logging-and-Reporting/Alternative-to-fwm-dbexport-R80/td-p/54645

Ruley13Option: D

D. the right No "fwm_dbexport" only "fwm dbexport" command and it has no -1 parameter only -l.

ShabVjOption: B

I would go with option B. A : is not correct because we don't have -l option in fwm dbimport command. C: clearly is not the case D: I don't see any option to restore the entire database except the user database , would be great if someone can clarify that.

ShabVj

However just noticed the B has a command fwm_dbimport which is not the correct command in R80. Probably this question is from R77 exam.

NanuOption: D

is D correct answer?

secadmin44

Why not?

DrTee

Yes D is correct!

4zhOption: D

voted for D, question is not correct because is obsolete like many others from R77, not for R80+

SnowwhiteOption: B

B is the answer. Run fwm_dbexport to export the user database..

lukemikroOption: B

I think B is correct. I don't get what -1 in the command would mean fwm dbimport Description Imports users into the Check Point User Database from an external file. You can create this file yourself, or use a file generated by fwm dbexport. Syntax > fwm dbimport [-m] [-s] [-v] [-r] [-k <errors>] [-f <file>] [-d <delim>]

Mia12

-l: Create an LDIF format file for importation by an LDAP server. I think it's a little L and not the number 1

LevisOption: B

why have -1 in the argument B is answer

muchaOption: A
