How can the changes made by an administrator before publishing the session be seen by a Super User administrator?
To see the changes made by an administrator before publishing the session, a Super User administrator can go to Manage and Settings > Sessions, right click on the session and click 'View Changes...' This option allows the Super User to view changes that have not yet been published.
I would say B. Per checkpoint link, only the admin making the change can see it: These changes are private and available only to the administrator. To avoid configuration conflicts, other administrators see a lock icon on objects and rules that are being edited in other sessions. https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_SecurityManagement_AdminGuide/Topics-SECMG/Session-flow-for-Administrators.htm
I tested on lab and D is more likely the answer
Tested it in the lab and you have to be logged in in the same time, when the administrator is logged out his changes can't be seen
D is correct
checked in lab
D seems like the most accurate with the caveat that right clicking offers "Changes..." not "View Changes..."
From the Smartconsole, you can possibly view the changes via Manage & setting, Sessions
To take over inactive sessions of other administrators: Log in to SmartConsole with a different administrator account. Go to Manage & Settings > Sessions > View Sessions. Right-click the relevant sessions of the administrator who owns the locked objects and select Take over. https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_SecurityManagement_AdminGuide/Topics-SECMG/Session-flow-for-Administrators.htm
B is correct, other that the user doing the edits, noone can see the edits before they are published (that is the point of publishing).
Wrong - look in sessions
D is correct
D is correct Created a test rule and didn't publish. This was not logged under audit log. This was available under Manage & Settings > Sessions > Right click the session > Changes.
C is wrong. right is D it all works as crooked as all their exams))
I think its D
D is correct
D is correct
D is correct
The correct answer is D: I have double-checked and verified the changes in the lab and agree with kevin403.
