On MHO-170 – In default configuration, what are GAIA names of Security Group Management ports?
In the default configuration of MHO-170, the GAIA names for the Security Group Management ports are eth1-Mgmt1 and eth1-Mgmt3. This naming convention maps to the Check Point Maestro documentation where the default management interfaces for orchestrators are designated as such.
C is correct. https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Appliances/GSG_Maestro/EN/Topics/Maestro-Hyperscale-Orchestrator-Ports-and-Gaia-OS-Interfaces.htm?TocPath=_____12
I did some more digging and actually C is correct. The two physical ports are logically seen as eth1-Mgmt1 (Port1) and eth2-Mgmt3 (Port2).
as per maestro getting started guide. the default names for the first orchestrator is eth1-Mgmt1 and eth1-Mgmt3 the default names for the second orchestrator is eth2-Mgmt1 and eth2-Mgmt3
Page 29 of the Getting Started Guide, indicates the MHO-170 has two ports that can be used to manage security groups: Ports 1-2. So based on this I would select B.
see "Port Mapping for the Check Point Maestro HyperScale Orchestrator MHO-170" Ports 1 – 2 are the Management ports for Security Groups
