There are four policy types available for each policy package. What are those policy types?
The four policy types available for each policy package are Access Control, Threat Prevention, NAT, and HTTPS Inspection. Access Control deals with network rules, Threat Prevention focuses on security against threats, NAT provides network address translation, and HTTPS Inspection manages encrypted traffic inspection.
I believe D is correct, although the question is confusing as there is more than four policy types. Latest R81 document lists all the policy types (see link). Included in these listed are Access Control, Threat Prevention, NAT and HTTPS inspection. Mobile access isn't listed, neither is autonomous threat prevention. So answer D is the only one with all it's options listed. https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_SecurityManagement_AdminGuide/Topics-SECMG/Working-with-Policy-Packages.htm
Based on this link and my view from SmartConsole, D is correct: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_SecurityManagement_AdminGuide/Topics-SECMG/Working-with-Policy-Packages.htm R81 Policy package does not include Custom or Autonomous threat prevention (Rollingo out B), neither Mobile access (rolling out A). It has more that 3 policy types (Rolling out C)
B is correct Go to "Manage Polices and layers" -> Add a new policy You will see the policy types
The answer is B. Tested in smartconsole and also had the question in checkpoint practice test
B is correct
B is the correct answer.
s confusing: Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) R81.10 Guide (page 243): "A policy package can have one or more of these policy types: • Access Control • QoS • Desktop Security • Threat Prevention • HTTPS Inspection"
https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_SecurityManagement_AdminGuide/Topics-SECMG/Working-with-Policy-Packages.htm
Assuming you are creating a new policy package then it's B.
B is correct. I also tested it.
It starts with there are four..., for me the answer is B
Answer is B as per the practice test from CP
B is correct
Sorry for the confusion, but I agree with Kevin when checking on smartconsole the answer should be B
B is the correct answer. You can check with your smart console.
This is for sure D, the course mentioned below at page 243 refers to Working with Policy Packages A policy package is a collection of different types of policies. After installation, the Security Gateway enforces all the policies in the package. A policy package can have one or more of these policy types: n Access Control - consists of these types of rules: l Firewall l NAT l Application & URL Filtering l Content Awareness https://downloads.checkpoint.com/fileserver/SOURCE/direct/ID/115922/FILE/CP_R81.10_Quantum_SecurityManagement_AdminGuide.pdf p178
We have a tricky question, on the book Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) R81.10 Guide we can see at page 243 the most similar to the real situation: "A policy package can have one or more of these policy types: • Access Control • QoS • Desktop Security • Threat Prevention • HTTPS Inspection" So we have the answer B which better present the correct answer, C and D are not correct because of NAT and A because of Mobile Access. That's what a suppose to be the correct answer, B.
Note: In smartConsole we can see Access control, Custom threat prevention, Autonomous threat prevention and HTTPS Inspection.
