For a VSX configuration – Which statement is wrong?
For a VSX configuration – Which statement is wrong?
All Virtual Systems do not exist solely on the Security Management Orchestrator (SMO). Instead, Virtual Systems in a VSX configuration can be distributed across multiple appliances. This makes option 'A' the incorrect statement, as it wrongly implies that all Virtual Systems are confined to the SMO. Thus, the correct response is identifying this misconception about where Virtual Systems reside in a VSX environment.
On a slide from a presentation from a CP employee "Each Appliance owns the same Virtual Systems"
Answer should be "D". All the VS are present in all the SGM, and each appliance does not owns its own VS.
Page 265 of the training manual: - Each SGM (appliance) acts as a VSX gateway - Configuration is the same for all SGMs - Unlike VSX Gateway, SGMs receive packets from Maestro Orchestrator - Ant Security Group that employs VSX must be configured with the VSX feature enabled. So based on the above I feel D is the correct answer as each appliance does have the same virtual system on there, however only one appliance would ever be active for a give VS.
If A is the answer then B is not a wrong statement. If B is true then A can't be a wrong statement
