The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends logs to the fwd process on the Management Server via which 2 processes?
The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends logs to the fwd process on the Management Server via which 2 processes?
The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends logs to the fwd process on the Management Server via cpd. The cpd process acts as an intermediary, facilitating the communication between the two fwd processes.
I believe the right answer should be D.
D. The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends the log to the fwd process on the Management server, where it is forwarded to cpm via cpd.
read page 226 CCSE r80 Point 4 FWD process on SG send logs to FWD on Management server, where it is forwarded to "CPM via CPD"
FWD use CPD to send logs received from the gateway FWD to the SMS CPM. cpm is not involved at all here, cpm is responsible for writing all information to the PostgreSQL and SOLR databases. (D is the correct answer for me)
Answer is cpm via cpd CCSE Manual page 227 on point 4.
C is correct Study guide page 226: The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends the log to the fwd process on the Management server, where it is forwarded to cpm via cpd.
Yes, C is correct. I have checked the manual too.
The correct answer is C. Based on the documentation. 4. The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends the log to the fwd process on the Management server, where it is forwarded to cpm via cpd. The question is not very well redacted - fwd processs on the SG sends log to the fwd process on the management via which other two processes. SG fwd - SM cpm - SM cpd - SG fwd. whether this is the correct answer on the actual exam I dont know.
The actual flow might be SG fwd - SM cpd - SM cpm - SG fwd.
The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends the log to the fwd process on the Management server, where it is forwarded to cpm via cpd. p.226 CCSE manual. Right answer should be C.
Correct answer is D It is need to read the image page 226 of the Manual CCSE starting from the bottom
Yeah that imagine clarify the doubt between C and D. The sentence "FWD process on SG send logs to FWD on Management server, where it is forwarded to CPM via CPD" is tricky because one can thinks about CPM via CPD. But the "CPM via CPD" is involved later, it is not involved in FW to mgmt process.
Did anyone quoting CCSE Manual and saying C is correct actually look on the picture it describes? Questions asks about communication between fwd(gw) and fwd(mgmt), NOT fwd(mgmt) and SmartConsole. Picture shows following flow: fwd(gw) -> cpd(gw) => cpd(mgmt) -> fwd(mgmt) -> cpd(mgmt) -> cpm(mgmt) -> SmartConsole CPD is helping to transfer messages between FWD(gw) and FWD(mgmt), D is correct
My first thought was also C, In book there stand clear cpm via cpd. But question is about FWD processes on GW and SMS and indeed there is only CPD process involved so FWD via CPD(answer D) seems to be the best option here.
The following is from the CCSE manual: "The fwd process on the Security Gateway sends the log to the fwd process on the Management server, where it is forwarded to cpm via cpd" On that basis it must be C.
correct answer is D - FWD -> CPD
Security Gateway: fwd => Security Managment: fwd =>cpd => cpm So the answer is C.
the question is about which processes forward the logs so its C
Think its D
The answer is simple actually: A. fwd via cpm : CPM is found between Smartconsole & Mgmt so the process is out of question. B. fwm via fwd <<< fwm is found between Smart console & mgmt, so the process is out of question too. C. cpm via cpd : Cpm again... you know its out of the question which say between gw & mgmt. D. fwd via cpd : so cpd is only option left although, this whole question might be wrong because no one can proof it hahahah
Had this question today in exam. gave FWD via CPD
FWD via CPD
