What is the main difference between Static NAT and Hide NAT?
Static NAT allows both incoming and outgoing connections by creating a fixed mapping between a private IP address and a public IP address. This makes the internal host accessible from the external network. Hide NAT, on the other hand, only allows outgoing connections by translating multiple private IP addresses to a single public IP address, effectively hiding the internal IP addresses from the external network.
Correct is B Hide NAT is a solution that only allows outgoing connections. Static NAT allows both incoming and outgoing connections. Taken from the CCSA R81.10 guide page 465
Should be correct, Hide NAT only translates the source address to hide it behind a gateway.
