Question 24

A business object needs to use a Global Send Keys stage to populate the User Name field in an application entitled Workflow. The application is in focus and cursor is in the User Name field. In order to configure the Global Send Keys, which element needs to be placed in the Element field of the stage below?

    Correct Answer: D

To configure the Global Send Keys stage to populate the User Name field in an application, the specific element that corresponds to the User Name field should be selected. In this case, the element 'Username (Edit Field)' needs to be placed in the Element field of the stage. This ensures that the Global Send Keys action is directed specifically at the User Name input field where the cursor is positioned, allowing the correct data to be entered into the field.

Should be A?

tdesbarresOption: A

A because the Main Window and Login Window are just groups you can't drag them over to the Element. You can Drag an Element or the Top Node and the top node only has Send Global Keys

and why not 'Login window' ?

LH1213

Usually, Log in window should be Activated, the User Name is clicked on (Global mouse click center) and then the send keys like strokes are sent to the application, so it is A

vote for A, but i try D, It also worked.

D will work if it is write stage. Not in Navigate stage using sendkeys.

LH1213

Actually, it did work for me in the past in DEV, but it will most likely fail in UAT and PRD
