For telecommunications grounding systems, the minimum American Wire Gauge (AWG) for a ground conductor over distances up to approximately 30 meters (100 feet) is 6 AWG. Since the distance between the TMGB and the telecommunications rack is 15 meters (50 feet), a 6 AWG ground conductor is required.
