OM1 and OM2 are older types of multimode fibers with lower bandwidth capabilities and are less suitable for new installations. OM3 fiber is designed for high-speed networks and offers better performance over greater distances than OM1 and OM2, making it the most appropriate choice.
OM1 and OM2 are legacy and not recognized for new installations. pg 1-90 I would go with OM3
